Pros

The company places a strong emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and those values are reflected in day-to-day operations and hiring practices. The staff—particularly at the individual contributor and frontline management levels—is truly top-tier. You’ll work with smart, dedicated, and collaborative colleagues who care deeply about the mission. The core product, InformaCast, has a meaningful impact and has been proven to save lives in critical situations. There’s a real sense of purpose behind the work. The company supports remote work and generally trusts employees to manage their time and deliver results without micromanagement. Cross-department collaboration is strong among non-executive teams. There’s a shared desire to support customers and solve problems quickly. The onboarding experience is well-organized, with solid training and resources to help new hires ramp up effectively.

Ever since PSG (Private Equity) acquired Singlewire, employee compensation has taken a significant hit. The new leadership team appears disconnected from the core of the business—it’s honestly painful listening to them speak, as they seem to have very little understanding of what we actually do. There’s been a noticeable lack of respect for long-term employees. Rather than building on the institutional knowledge that exists, leadership seems more focused on bringing in and developing their own "new champions." While that might be appealing to someone joining the company fresh, it’s been demoralizing for those who’ve contributed for years. Growth opportunities have also dried up. There used to be a clear progression path—BDR to AM to TM to RM to VP of Sales. That path no longer exists in practice. In the most recent hiring cycles, not a single BDR was promoted to AM, no AMs were considered for TM roles, and the last VP of Sales position went to someone outside the team—no current TM was even in the conversation. It sends a clear message that the leadership lacks confidence in its existing talent. Internally, it’s become a running joke that the new CEO is like a mayor—he walks around shaking hands but doesn’t accomplish much. The new VPs tend to be smooth talkers without much follow-through, and their executive meetings notably exclude anyone with hands-on experience selling the actual product. That’s tough to watch as a sales professional. On top of all that, the new Visitor Aware (VA) product isn’t performing well. There’s significant competition in the space, and adoption has been slow. Despite that, leadership is pushing the sales team hard to sell it—it feels like a desperate move to boost revenue, but it’s clearly not working. Last but not least, the one constant at Singlewire is change. If you don't like your territory changing every year, this is probably not the place for you.

Pros

They treat all employees as humans and not assets. I really like the family atmosphere and how they have events that include the spouses and children of the employees. It’s becoming a larger company, but it still keeps the small business feel and culture. I would recommend Singlewire to anyone looking.

Pros

Good people overall. Some of the company still tries to be what used to make Singlewire great to work at. The main product is worthwhile.

New management team and PE owners care about nothing except the bottom line. Raises and bonuses have gotten stingy and employees are constantly asked to do more with less. Executives keep hiring their friends rather than competent leaders and long-time employees are no longer considered to have valuable insights worth listening to. Benefits are the bare minimum and getting worse: time off has decreased, “incentive units” don’t vest and are probably worth nothing, education benefits disappeared, and even company parties and meetings that were once nice catered events have turned into gummy pasta from Olive Garden and breakfast from IHOP. UHC health insurance is especially terrible and company leaders refuse to consider other options.
