Pros

people you get to work with are great, at least the one on the ground rather than the "gods" in the untouchable leadership team

Kontras

UK team launched successful add-on product got laid off Canada team launched successful expansion that bring direct revenue, got laid off The only ones saved are if you cost the company as little as possible (aka be in India). And in doing the layoffs, they would do the very bare minimum they can get away with without getting sued, there's absolutely no other consideration to the people impacted other than the money they get to save. "Work is good, when life is better" and their supposed focus on "Employee Experience" are just platitudes. Actions speak louder than words and while layoffs may be inevitable, they will chose the worse way to do it to you.

We know how hard these experiences can be and appreciate your honesty. Layoffs are always challenging, and their impact on individuals and teams is not lost on us. While cost and capacity sometimes constrain what we’re able to do, we remain focused on making decisions thoughtfully and with care for everyone involved. We welcome any additional feedback you’d like to share. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective.

Pros

Hybrid work environment. Recharge days

Kontras

Saying "poor leadership" will be an understatement! Leadership has basically failed! The decision-making process is utterly ineffective, and in almost all cases, bad decisions were made. The CEO constantly injects himself into everything instead of focusing on leading the company! Just in the last year, the CPO, CTO, CMO, and other leaders in all departments left the organization or were pushed out, simply because the CEO does not want to hear no and needs to surround himself with "yes-men" to his ridiculous claims. His tendency to chase the market buzzwords and cater to saying yes to every prospect, while ignoring his own existing customer requests, has caused a massive customer churn, multiple rounds of RIFs, and crippling his top management teams. As a result, unqualified individuals have been promoted into positions they cannot manage, increasing the chaos and frustration among the teams. It is very sad to witness! Every employee in the company is seeking the next opportunity.
