Pervasive Cultural Insensitivity: The vast majority of the workplace exhibits ongoing racial and cultural insensitivity, making the environment incredibly stressful and anxiety-inducing for employees of color. Ineffective Management: Multiple formal complaints regarding biased and inappropriate behavior were brought to HR and upper management, but zero corrective action was taken. Favoritism and Exclusion: The CEO openly practices favoritism. If you are not in the "inner circle," your contributions are entirely invisible. Protected Bad Behavior: Certain individuals are permitted to be openly rude, mean, and culturally insensitive because they enjoy "office favorite" status with leadership, leading to a miserable daily work experience.
