Good pay - it's an MLM so they have to pay a little more. They have money to throw at equipment and perks, so that was nice. The IT team has unlimited PTO, and flexible schedules.

Each year the company holds a convention. The IT team always promises to roll out a lot of new features. This has turned into nine months of forcing code in and 3 months of fixing that broken code. So, needless to say, the processes are very broken. There is a ton of technical debt. The manager is very opinionated and not very flexible. He is very unapproachable, even when it comes to technical questions. He was even at times demeaning when someone would bring him questions. The CEO seems to have great vision, but somehow the rest of the executive team seems to stifle his energy. You will often hear them talking about how the CEO wants too much and discussing what they can do to give him just enough to please him.
