Pros
The company takes work-life balance very seriously. Working from home is common and accepted, and depending on what you do hours are very flexible. Generally your autonomy is respected re: time working, so nobody watches the clock for when you arrive or leave, and if you need to arrive late or leave early or have an appointment during the day it's very easy to do so. The people at the office are generally sociable people who are fun while still all being professionals who do excellent work. I've never felt like somebody I worked with wasn't pulling their weight.
Kontras
Environmentally, if you're interested in quiet working conditions it's generally not great. A culture of wanting to keep people connected has favoured open floorplans and coworkers socialize, which can mean difficulties for people who need lots of quiet for good output. There's some quiet areas to work, but mostly if you want quiet you're looking at working from home. As a small-medium sized company, there's definitely the problem of promotion. For a lot of minor functions in the company there's little room to grow to higher positions, so we've lost people who needed to take other opportunities for growth reasons.
