Pros
You can eat the lunches that are catered and snacks from the kitchen. The kids are overall good to work with and parents were nice to work with.
Kontras
Pay was not good, raises did not happen after being told it would happen. It’s hard to request time off, and when you do, there is shaming along with it. The administration come across as nice and helpful, but some are not very caring or helpful to newer staff. The administration can take off days, come in late and leave early without any troubles while teachers were guilted when taking time off as “staff is low”. There were many cliques and it was hard to feel “connected” or even valued by the administration. I was expected to do more duties than listed as an assistant, but no pay compensation or even a discussion about potential new duties.
