Pros
The relaxed dress code, the ability to work from home, having a cafeteria to order food for lunch, free coffee.
Kontras
The extremely low salary for the amount of work that employees do on a day-to-day basis. The PC culture where you literally have to tread lightly in making sure that you do not offend people as most of the company is centered around hiring kids out of college. The constant turnover rate in which others have to pick up the slack for the department to ensure that customers are "taken" care of. Management is quickly to throw others under the bus, even if the management is involved in the situation they are quick to cast blame on a lower employee to make sure that their career is safe from any disciplinary actions. The company plays favorites with certain employees, and the room to move up within a department depends on how "buddy-buddy" you are with senior leadership. New hires are required to work 11:30am to 8:30pm, which the hiring manager mentions that there is a $3k premium increase in pay, but once you're able to begin working new hours at 9am-6pm, you lose that premium pay. Also, if you want to apply for a promotion, you have to apply on the company website and have to go through the same interview process as someone who has applied for the position that is not currently employed with the company. If you are working 9am-6pm and are offered the promotion, you can expect your hours to change back to working 11:30am-8:30pm, which makes it harder to have a life outside of work, especially if you have a family. Don't expect to be included in any of the company's events is you're not part of the sales, business development, and marketing department. The company invests more in those departments than RFS, merchandising, accounts payable, and their IT department.
