A dynamic company with innovative software products. The people were great. Everyone I worked with was professional and highly motivated. It was a great place to be if you enjoy a startup environment. It was an excellent place to build up my portfolio.

The only con for me was the company was acquired, so my role as a contractor ended.

A fantastic team, awesome investors (accel, deepfork, emergence, mdv, svb, & wti), and a great culture. The Enterprise SaaS space is getting really hot again, and Genius/LeadRocket are squarely in the hunt. Great benefits for a small company including solid medical/dental, unlimited PTO, a Tahoe office, philanthropy matching, and flexible work schedules.

Genius grew really quickly and possibly a little prematurely which caused a bunch of unnecessary growing pains. The coffee machine requires a PHD to use.
