Deli, don't do it. - Deli Clerk bei Safeway: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I worked 40 hours a week and requested that I work less and it wasn't given to me. The Deli is the worst department to work in at that store. If you are to work at Safeway, I would recommend produce or clerk. Many of my friends that worked as clerk for a couple of months got promoted to checker while I was stuck at the Deli. Everyday, you can expect a long line and sometimes customers complaining to your face and then proceeding to tell the manager which gets them a free meal. They refuse to hire more people to work there. People quit faster then they can hire because it is that bad. I have seen people quit working their first friday.
