Pros
Good work/life balance, decent starting pay. Co-workers are fun to work with. My manager does a great job of establishing expectations and providing an appropriate amount of work to do.
Kontras
They don't seem to understand that shareholder value does not provide a lot of motivation to employees. They do not work to retain talented employees and working on projects or with groups is a never-ending rotation of new faces. People leave just as soon as they get up to speed. Health benefits are below standard. Frequent back office layoffs have created a general unease and a culture of uncertainty. Nobody knows if they'll have a job in a year. Are we next? The pending merger does not do anything to quell those feelings.
