There is a tendency to jump from one trendy management program to another. It's not a fatal flaw, but it's annoying. Schlumberger does have a number professional improvement programs, and they develop them with the best of intentions, but they're often very hard to decipher for the uninitiated, and it takes so much time, you can't figure it out and do your job.
