Pros
SCI is a great place to work. The Executive teams really genuinely care about the people of this organization and treat everyone as a valuable member of the SCI family. SCI has flexible hours, work from home programs, a subsidized gym membership, fun and inclusive events, and training and educational support programs. The managers focus on promoting from within and do their best to create opportunities for those who show interest in growing their careers. SCI does a great job to promote work/life balance.
Kontras
Every company has it's challenges. SCI doesn't have the best benefits program but they are working on improving that. Compared to other benefit programs, SCI probably falls somewhere in the middle. Some folks don't like that SCI is north of the city in Markham and doesn't have a "cool" location, but that's where the flexibility to work from home really comes into play. Plus, we are right off the 404 and 407.
