Pros
Rufus is a company who care. This is the first company I have worked in where the HR team have been 'for the people' and genuinely cared, and want to make a difference. They are big advocates of having a good work/life balance and over the last year alone I've seen a big increase in people starting and maintaining flexible working patterns. The dynamics have changed over the last few years, and the crazy long hours are few and far between. It obviously still happens, it is an agency after all, but we are very much encouraged by HR to look after ourselves and our mental wellbeing. Rufus are great at recognising talent and giving opportunities. There are many people here who started in very different roles to those which they are in now. If you show an interest in a different area of the business you are supported in moving around. I was seconded to a new team and ended up permanently moving over after finding myself in a role I loved. There's lots of social stuff if that's your jam, personally I'm one of the introverts who doesn't attend much, but it's always on offer and I'm never made to feel awkward for not wanting to attend.
