Overall a positive environment, and I truly work with some of the brightest and goal-minded people I’ve ever worked with. In past companies I’ve worked for there are always some bad apples that sour the work environment but that isn’t the case here. Rocket Lab has given me many opportunity to build skills and receive on-the-the job training, and I have no plans to leave. Probably the best place I’ve worked in over my 25 year career.

All the emphasis is placed on engineering and production, which makes sense in an aerospace company, however HR and TA departments are obviously struggling to keep up with needs of a growing company. All senior management seems to have engineering backgrounds, but really engineering skills have no direct correlations to business management and it shows in how the company operates.
