Pros

Coworkers are great, awesome people to work with. Office in a fun location and they do have free lunches pretty often

Kontras

It’s hard to recommend a job that requires you to work long weekdays, every single weekend (wish I was joking) and holidays. If you aren’t available by phone 24/7 for clients in different time zones you are not meeting expectations and a low performer that’s next on the firing block. Sad that they pay us the minimum california requires exempt salary employees to make in order to not pay us overtime or holiday pay, because if we added up all those hours we would all be making more than twice our current salary. Other employees have the opportunity to make commission and only work 9-5 doing the easiest part of the job. You should only apply to a sales position here since it’s pretty cushy otherwise say goodbye to having a life

Pros

From day one of the acquisition, the leadership at Roaming Hunger made it clear this wasn’t just business as usual. It was about building something stronger together. CEO Greg has maintained an open door policy that’s rare to find, and Jill, the Head of People, brings warmth and realness to every interaction. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate across departments and what stands out is how much people genuinely mean what they say. They don’t just talk the talk. They walk it too. Culture blending can be tricky, but the way Cater2.me and Roaming Hunger came together has been seamless. I’ve felt appreciated, seen, and supported since the very beginning. I’ve gone through other acquisitions before, and this one has been the smoothest by far. That doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means that communication continues to improve daily and people consistently do what they say they will do. That kind of follow through builds real trust. I’ve been invited to speak on panels, join brainstorming sessions, and sit in one on ones with team members across the org. Support has come from every direction. This is a culture of transparency, ownership, and inclusion.

Kontras

No major cons so far. Like any company post acquisition, there are still things evolving, but the direction and leadership are solid.
