Pros

Management was very friendly and professional. Management did not overly monitor the data entry specialist team. I enjoyed talking to my supervisors. There is no mandatory overtime, but on occasion overtime is allowed. There is free catered lunch (you can choose from several different restaurants through an online catering service). The catering services gives high-quality takeout food. The tables in the break room were nice. Most people are very helpful. Training was easy, and you can easily get help as needed. You have standing desks. The workspace is usually an office environment. Work can be interesting. Work pace can vary. Work can be a little bit challenging, as clients have different requirements on the work that they want data entry specialists to do.

Kontras

The pay can be a bit lower than desired for some members (though you do get a lot of perks). Snacks, a perk listed in the job posting, were greatly limited. Sometimes, there would be no snacks available. Though after some people talked to HR about the limited snacks, more snacks were provided (at least a few snacks for each in-person employee per day). There is an emphasis on keeping track of productivity - especially for image production associates (IPAs), but also for data entry specialists (DEs). The environment might not be the best for everyone.

Pros

There's nothing positive about working here anymore outside of working with some great people in low and mid-level positions as well some mid-level managers. The catered lunches were the other pro of working here, but all of that dwindled to the point that even free coffee was a hit-and-miss perk.

Kontras

There are so many issues with this company. A quick walk through the production area showing the graveyard of defunct and dead 'robots' highlights the amount of time and money the company has attempted to get a viable 'product' out the door, yet as of my departure, the company was still not profitable. Executive 'leadership' cut salaries for mid-range employees, including myself. At the same time, it remained unclear if leadership's base pay was ever impacted, which highlighted the 'rules for thee, not for me' and the lack of leading by example that was consistently shown at this company. They also initiated this pay cut right after my team pulled off a huge effort for the company that provided big value and visibility, and our supervisor had the audacity to ask us to work longer hours with our pay cut. My supervisor in particular was incredibly inept at management and leadership. They constantly micromanaged the team and frequently changed directions to the team's efforts, only to then hold the team accountable for not maintaining pace with the confusing, unclear, and too tightly paced changes. Requests for tools to be effective at my job were met with pushback and explanations as to why I didn't need them. In asking for clarifications in daily communication, I was told to "think about" what was communicated. I also consistently dealt with being micromanaged and expected to 'lead' the group, a glaring contradiction my supervisor was unable to understand. After having talked with several former and current employees who worked under or with this same supervisor, it sounded like my experience with my supervisor was not unique. HR also appeared inept and ineffective. They were unprepared for presentations during all-hands meetings and were unable to answer basic, boilerplate questions about the provided benefits. They were also tasked with managing the restocking of free snacks in the kitchen, a minor perk the company touted, and it was in my opinion poorly handled. Restocking was shotty at best and it was never clearly communicated with the workforce why there were interruptions of shortages at any given time. Far be it from me to expect HR to communicate timely or clearly with their workforce, especially when things seemed bad and morale was low. Terminations were rampant when I departed. My separation was handled incredibly poorly from my perspective. No explanation as to why I was severed was provided other than a generic answer from both HR and my supervisor. They refused to elaborate on that point which left me and my surprised colleagues confused about upon hearing the news. No severance was offered to me, and of course, the "unlimited PTO benefit" came back to bite me as there was no payout for that either. I walked out the door with only a few day's worth of pay. Lastly, unemployment took over 2 months to begin paying out because of a "clerical issue" with my paperwork. While I can't confirm, it sounded from the unemployment insurance agent that the delay was due to an error filed by my employer. While I don't know who handles UI benefits within this company, I can say my relationship with HR was poor, and a 'clerical error' as a result of that would not surprise me. Finally, I was in a mid to high-level IC/emerging cornerstone engineering position and when I was there, there was no career development focus, no actual area to grow into, no pillars of professionalism to learn from, no processes or tools in place to utilize and be effective, and no communicated plans for the future. In my opinion, I or my fellow employees were never valued as a person or employee, We were just squeezed for everything we could provide them for the minimal amount they could get away with offering us. Your mileage may vary, join at your own risk. In my opinion, steer FAR clear of this toxic company.
