Pros
The patients are awesome and I love the acuity since it is a level 1 trauma. I feel like you don't really know how sick some of the kids are until you're there working day to day. You'll learn something new every day no matter how long you're there for. Management supports your learning goals.
Kontras
The pay is not worth the stress and acuity of the units in my opinion, although it is a good place to get experience and see so many different things.
