      Pros

      A school that espouses traditional values, good character, love of knowledge, and the craft of education. If you are lazy and just want to get by using the same old canned stuff year after year after year (and there are many of those kinds of teachers out there), this place is not for you. Teachers are expected to walk the talk - and that is likely too much for many. The teachers that stay are true masters of their craft.

      Teachers are expected to continue learning and refining their lessons and their craft in general. A teacher who thinks that they can rest on their laurels will not be successful long term here.

      Pros

      I adore this school. I come to work everyday with a smile on my face. The students are bright, polite, and love to learn. They respect their peers and themselves. 10/10 the most amazing school I've ever had the pleasure of working in. The staff is also the best I've seen. We work great independently and as a team.

      It can be difficult at times balancing the paperwork load from both fifth grade classes (grading/copying/filing) but I've got a great team of teachers and a system that makes it all manageable. It's taught me so much about the importance and finesse of organizational skills. Efficiency is everything.

      Schedule; days off; dedicated resource room

      Kontras

      Admin plays faculty against each other. Can be toxic. Cost of living in FoCo. No accountability for head master
