Pros

great co-workers, good networking opportunities, sometimes you get to go to an event?

Kontras

The company is a facade. From the outside it seems fun, chill, a good place to work, good connections, etc.. Get in there and you see there are issues in all areas. I will say that RelusCloud days were golden. Everyone was happy and it was a fun company to work at. I don't know what has shifted in the last year to make it such a toxic environment.  1. management - I dont know a single person who really feels that their managers actually helped them. There are also way too many managers without the experience in the industry they are working in to actually MANAGE hard workers the right way. Most of the time, management would just be playing way to much into politics to make sure the CEO likes them to even worry about youre well being. Its really hard to watch so many young new grads think this is how it should be when its not at all. 2. benefits - pay is okay, and they do a 401k match but the unlimited time off is no longer offered unless you've been there for over a year. They talk about how much SNACKS cost for the office and thats why you cant get paid more while also making huge pay cuts for TOP performers ($1m rev generators!!!) these pay cuts happened BEFORE covid. There are a few people there that I think should be getting paid so much more and others that should be getting paid so much less. 3. COVID-19 - this is very important for people to know: for WEEKS when offices around Atlanta were shutting down Relutech kept its doors open requiring people to be in office and management would say to people "the office is the safest place you can be" I kid you not. And finally when it did shut down they were doing crazy amounts of check ins with employees. If you dont trust your employees dont hire them. 4. work life balance - I 100% suspect that everyone will have to come back to the office and work after COVID is over. If you werent travelling you had to be in the office. Like everyone says the hours are archaic. Yet I know managers who would come in at 11am because they were getting a spray tan or take 2 hour lunch breaks to get their nails done. Laughable. They advertise about training that never happened or if you did want to go to one you would have to only do it outside of work hours??!? 5. favoritism - ask anyone there. You will get your answer. Its very clear who the upper level leadership actually cares about. Rules dont apply to the managers who make 6figures (and the upper level management's favorite workers) are there just to prevent you from doing your job.  6. transparency - dont expect ANY. examples: pay cuts, COVID, changes in leadership, new leadership, board meetings, the awards, GLASSDOOR.  7. diversity - its very monochromatic here. I think there are probably less than 5 employees that would identify as being a person of color. you can go to the site and see all the employees for yourself. Rewind: The awards... leadership would tell you to not write anything negative for the award surveys but to "talk to your manager about problems" that would never be fixed or addressed. SO MANY bad glassdoor reviews have been removed and yes i know you cant "pay" to have them removed. but you can write cease and desist letters to Glassdoors legal team and mark them as "slander" even though Glassdoor should be a forum with free speech. The formula is pretty funny, one person writes a negative review, the CEO replies, and then he picks someone to write another GOOD review to balance. I could individually name probably half the reviews on here. Cant wait to see who writes the next good review to balance this one out!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time at ReluTech. I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience during your time here and we appreciate the feedback you have given in order to help us grow into a better company. Related to your comments, we wanted to address them. In regards to management, we are sorry that management did not fit the style you seek - management is committed to helping their employees develop in any way they can and will be taking this feedback seriously. When it comes to compensation, we do what we can to make sure everyone is compensated fairly for the work performed and by industry standard. Our COVID policies have adjusted as more information has been provided by the CDC. Additionally, check-ins with employees were created in an effort to stay connected with our teams while we transitioned to working entirely from home. ReluTech has never been a company that works remote, so we made adjustments as we grow accustom to this shift. To your point on diversity, we are prioritizing diversity initiatives to not only hire more diverse candidates, but also work towards a more inclusive culture here at ReluTech. And finally to your point about Glassdoor reviews, we are not able to remove any bad reviews as Glassdoor truly is a forum for free speech. Thank you again for providing your feedback, and we will be using it as a driver for continued improvement.

Pros

I am relatively new here at ReluTech, but I cannot express how grateful I am for the situation that I have found myself in this company.. Our sales department has formed a tight camaraderie, where we work hard daily but also have a blast doing it. I genuinely enjoy being around the people I work with everyday. To keep morale high, we will often have unorthodox events that involve the whole team in a fun way. Our environment is off the charts! All my friends and family are jealous when I tell them about the things that we do on a daily basis. The industry that ReluTech specializes in is an aspiring salesperson's dream. Our sales produce high margins, and a service that makes sense for companies wanting to save costs in their IT department. The opportunity for growth for those starting in an introductory role is fantastic. It takes a while to understand the products and how to be successful in the job starting off, but with time you understand best practices and what works for you. Overall, business is booming at ReluTech with no signs of slowing down. Management is not set in the old ways of things either, as we are constantly evaluating new ways to differentiate ourselves and make our company as whole easier to sell.

Kontras

When I came in, the structure and training was a little lack luster. I was thirsting to learn more, but was told I would learn more as I grew into my role in the company. I think a more thought out training process would have been beneficial.
