Pros
You learn your own value and worth. They won't pay you well, so you will probably find another job that will.
Kontras
The compensation was a joke. It was so ridiculously low that I stopped expecting to live well. The leadership was either unaware of how to pay people well or they just didn't want to. I suspect the latter was the case.
Things were awfully disorganized, too. Employees had to work extra hard and take on additional stress to complete even basic tasks. There was no support available, so you were on your own. It was horribly exhausting to deal with the same challenges daily.
Late-night calls were another pain point. It meant I had the worst work-life balance. I couldn't get peaceful sleep because I always expected to be woken up. I actually developed sleep issues I never had before. It was awful!
