Pros
If you're looking to make a few pennies more than the average fast food worker, this is the place for you! Last summer they bought us snow cones. So I guess that's a perk?
Kontras
I worked here for a year and a half. They constantly talked about how well the company was doing but none of that ever translated into pay increases for the production employees. They tout their free health insurance in the interview as a reason to work there but it's really bottom tier insurance PTO in the first year is pathetic, they shut down the plant between Christmas and new years and then expect you to use all your PTO or go unpaid. There's a lot of good people who work here and they're mostly miserable at work. A lot are actively looking for new employment. They were going to sell the company but then found out the ground was contaminated so the sale never went through. They are making zero attempts to clean up their contamination. Forklift training is non existent. New people drive around in tight spaces carrying heavy, awkward pieces of pipe with no safety straps. I worked with various pieces of really old rotomolding equipment and in my training never felt that they cared at all about safety They are ISO9000 certified but shouldn't be. The week before the audits they made sure we had hidden anything that may affect the audit.
