New joiners frequently come in with higher salaries and higher corporate rankings, despite lacking the essential experience, local operational knowledge, and familiarity with company manuals that long-term staff possess. Broken Performance Management: The performance review system is highly inconsistent. Loyalty, deep institutional knowledge, and consistent performance are not adequately rewarded. (For context, despite 14 years of consistent performance, I have only been promoted once).
