Pros
Good atmosphere between medical techs and team leaders. The work itself is a meaningful public good.
Kontras
Management leaves much to be desired. Work locations and coworkers change at a moment's notice. There is no universal procedure for workflow across teams, making work at these shifting locations unpredictable. Vans are nearly always understaffed in busy places.
Training in health information management programs was extremely scattered. Tech was often dysfunctional, including the clocking in/out app, resulting in lost hours of pay you can't get back. Medical techs have been harassed by members of the public with little reaction but a "we appreciate you" from management in the work chat.
The pay is close to minimum wage and not at all worth the stress.
