-Forty Hour Weeks are the norm. Things sometimes get busier but really are not too bad
-100% Remote goes so far
-Unlimited time off is real. I use plenty and have never received negative feedback
-Managers are consistently good
Kontras
-Compensation is lower than I would like, but it isn't terrible
-Because of the WLB, turnover is low, which means less opportunities for promotion

Thank you for your review. We understand the important role that our Total Rewards program plays in the lives of our employees and their families. We’re proud to offer excellent and competitive compensation and rewards that support our employees’ physical and financial health – both now and in the future.
I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
