Due to the fact there were dedicated event management and assistent roles, I went in a bit naive just to how involved marketing is with the event management. Of course I expeceted high involvement with the events themselves, this is after all the bread and butter of the business (ESPC & Eurostar), but as Marketing Manager it felt like marketing were spread thin at times - especially the marketing manager who should be leading a GTM strategy.
