Pros
Qualcomm has the best benefits in San Diego out of any company in the area and this alone makes it attract to work there. That's pretty much it.
Kontras
It's a hardware company so beware. If you're a software guy there is no future/career track. If you can't design a chip you'll be second class. Period. Every other type of engineer gets shafted to 2nd-class status in the company. As a result the vast majority of mgr's are politics driven and you see this every day and sucks the life out of the employees. There are also lots of dead weight because of this as well.
