If you aren't part of the "in crowd" you can forget making it there long. Senior leadership is very elitist and most major decisions are controlled by HR. It's a very judgmental atmosphere, especially in corporate roles and promotions tend to go to the younger and most popular crowd. They also have leaders in locations that aren’t local to their areas of responsibility so they spend tons of money on travel while laying people off.
