Like everyone, we struggled to keep up with demand during COVID due to supply chain issues, and we had to prioritize deliveries based on customer need. That situation is much improved today.
We recognized the stress delayed deliveries would have on our sales team, however, so we paid commissions on a sale even when equipment hadn’t been delivered. Achieving quota was still expected and attainable, with the only difference being in the turnaround time for delivery due to the lag in the supply chain.
