Pros
I like that we are developing very cool products and we have a mindset of solving difficult challenges together. The engineering team has a lot of talent and built a strong culture of collaboration. I like the pragmatism on the way we tackle any solution: we use state of the art technology, but start with simple solutions without overengineering. We have some legacy code accumulated over the years but there's always someone that knows their way around for every service or component and we constantly try to shed more light to unknown areas. It's overall an inspiring environment and I think everyone is very nice and supportive, even in high-pressure situations. It's also fun to be around since we do activities together very often: outdoor sports, dinners, board-game nights, retreats etc.
Kontras
As any startup, things sometimes move fast and there's pressure to deliver so it gets hard to always follow all the moving pieces. I think with time we are getting better at communication and documenting things but there's still room for improvement.
