Co-workers, in spite of dealing with drusterating people all day are very friendly. Everyone is willing to lend a hand. Its not the easiest job, but the people you would with def help make a difference. It's laid back work environment, jeans almost every day.

The people who call can be very frusterating. You quickly learn to let things roll off your back. The clock-in. clock-out mentality is difficult at times. It's very draining

Once you've put in a year, they may let you work from home 4 days a week. This is such a huge perk, it really makes the cons much easier to stomach.

The pay is on the low side for call center work. There is very little contact with upper management. Although I'm sure they think their quarterly addresses keep them in touch with "the little people", the reality is that these meetings, since they are attended remotely, are ignored at best, and openly mocked at worst. Middle and lower management operate like high school girl cliques. They reward their sycophants and make life miserable for any employees bright enough to pose a serious threat to their power. This condition is insidious. You probably won't notice it at first, but it will gradually manage to erode any enthusiasm you may bring to the job.
