where do I start, this job is one of the lowest-paid hotels on the beach. at the postcard inn, the general pay is between 9.50-10.50. There is a big bug problem roaches, bed bug, termites you name it they got it and its disgusting I broke out in haves every day I worked there. another con is everybody that's there right now has not been there for longer than now four months, not even the managers and no not even the general manager. this job hires and fires very fast. this job is very bias and I am saying this as a very biracial woman. they treat their white employees way better then their black ones I feel like they only hire them to fill the position and so they can say they have them but if they had a choice the whole hotel would be white only. I was written up for saying I didn't like the professionalism literally anything you say that they don't agree with puts you on the radar of termination. if you work here get a handheld recorder so you can record all the disrespect because that's the only reason my lawyer wouldnt allow me to follow through with a lawsuit. after losing a child I honestly feel like this was the worse place for me to go, it put me through a lot of pain, the disresect is what was the icing on the cake for me, even the guest that come there are terrible, not all of them but majority are all snobby drunk rude and loud like nothing I've ever seen before. the housekeepers get 16 rooms a day and gets rushed through them all. so you can only guess the issue with that rooms cant get done properly. they have leaks everywhere dust and mold and mildew everywhere, ceilings falling in. The only thing good about this place is the kitchen if the bugs don't get in there but its the cleanest part of the hotel and most organized.
