I have worked in technology department. So pros are as following: 1. You will get Night Dinner compensation if you are working late. 2.You will get party at intervals.
Kontras
1.Not a good measurement how you are evaluated or measured in terms of performance. 2.There are too much office politics. 3. There are uneven conpensation for same position. 4. Managers are very interested in your salary than work and judge you on basis of this. (I think salary knowledge should be part of only hr department )
