Pros

- Easy hiring process Admittedly the standards are pretty low since the usual applicant has few to no skills, but you're rarely going to get denied unless you've got a highly negative thing going around. Employees are rarely ever laid off as well, just given hour cuts until they improve. - Friendly and Capable In-House Management Management is usually fast to fill in any time a sudden onrush of customers shows up, employee calling out, etc. Very welcoming and friendly even during so, will actively try to grow your skillset across the company while you're here. - Healthy amount of regular business Business usually sticks between the scale of slow but steady or bustling while not bursting with customers. Rarely will be so bad you have to open extra space or turn away customers. Customers usually tip pretty generously, especially for Delivery. - Pay is solid. Seems only slightly lower than other entry level jobs in the area but also usually getting tips that push usual hourly value higher than others. Management does their best to grow skillsets and will also attribute minor pay bumps due to that and can put it on par with most similar skill jobs at other locations BEFORE adding in tips.

Kontras

- Hours are usually low. Getting more than 15-20 hours per week requires being a manager or asking for other people's shifts. That being said, you should make more than enough for the usual bills and have a good bit left over for savings and leisure spending. - Inconsistent following of Values. Labels itself as a Christian company and will show this through gospel music as a standard, in-house decor reflecting the faith, etc. Leads to a strange conflict when management is largely inclusive and doesn't enforce values to be reflected, and thus makes an unhappy spot where nobody is happy except for employees who do not care about said values. (Which is most of the staff due to being entry level jobs, a lot of applicants just don't care beyond getting a paycheck.) - You're not going anywhere here. This is a pretty great job for being entry level, but once you're to the point of a lower manager you're not really going to be moving from that point unless going down. Skills aren't transferable to higher industry work, upper management is family-based first and foremost, etc.
