      Pros

      I am working in Philips since 2009. What I like in Philips is that you are free to share your opinion with managers. If you perform, the company invests on you both in terms of responsibilities and in terms of learning. Salaries are competitive but not the highest in the industry.

      Kontras

      There's too much of politic. The company doesn't grow and doesn't move fast enough compared to the market. It takes ages to take each decision. If you wanna apply for an internal vacancy you need a sponsor, otherwise no one will call you up for an interview.

      Great company with great work environment. Work quality of life is excellent. Good benefits and good vacation time.

      Kontras

      Lots of change based on changing times. Your way of working will change somewhat at least every couple of years.

      Pros

      The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

      Kontras

      Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
