Pros

I love working with the animals, and over the time I've worked there I've found customers that I care about. Seeing animals get adopted, rather than bought is amazing.

Kontras

The management won't protect you like they should. My phone number was leaked, and I was then harassed by a former employee. I work three departments but will never see a raise until my next year mark. Pay is higher than minimum wage, but not enough to survive on compared to hours avaliable. Other employee's that have worked there longer have lost their heart in the job and have become careless. No matter how hard you work, you will not reap benefits.

Pros

If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

Kontras

Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
