Pros

The company has a number of really passionate educators who really care about doing great work and helping people learn. The mission of helping teachers become better at what they do is definitely worthwhile work.

Kontras

The senior management lacks vision; they really don't know what they want to do with the company. Goals, when they exist at all, are vaguely explained and shift on a nearly weekly basis. Nearly everything they do is reactive; no one at the top has an idea of where the company should be a year from now, let alone in 5 or 10 years. The lack of forward thinking and advance planning contributes to the company operating in continuous crisis mode.

Pros

Great working environment prior to merger. CEO is kind, but everyone that had any knowledge of system has left and anyone left is very controlling.

Kontras

Everyone that has ANY knowledge of system has left. This includes IT and Development. As a former employee I can speak personally of the backstabbing nature of the upper management. Also I know people that have interviewed and have been declined that have had more than enough experience and training to do the job, they just didn't agree with the current Architect. BEWARE if you go there!!!!
