Pros

My manager was great. She expressed so much confidence in me and seemed to really care about her people.

Kontras

The micromanaging culture was terrible. It was truly big brother. You are told how to spend nearly every minute of your day and was watched during remote prospecting days. You sat on Zoom with the entire team cold calling in your ear. Very strange culture. It exuded leadership didn’t trust their sales force if you watch them from home via Zoom. Working on weekends. Leadership asked you to start your prospecting campaigns on sundays. Sunday was included in your 7 touch campaign as if it was expected you work 6 days of week. Terrible. Sr. Leadership didn’t care about anyone- the messages and culture starts at the CEO and he thought everyone was replaceable. Do your homework before accepting any offer. If you’re experienced in sales this will be a massive step back- highly recommend reconsidering.

Pros

You can make a lot of money if you are in the right territory and have a good client base that hasn’t been oversold by previous AMs. The training is very good and you will make good friends! The people they hire are smart and fun to be around

Kontras

If there has been high turnover in your territory it will be hard to sell as the clients have products that have not been properly implemented and are likely gun shy to purchase. It will also depend how “over promised/under delivered” their experience with new business is. The work/life balance can, and probably will, become very toxic. You are on the road constantly if you have a travel heavy territory which makes it difficult to get admin work done during business hours. You will be working before and/or after work - probably on the weekends as well. Ask for transparency in your territory assignment. You want to know how far your furthest client is as you will have to go see them in person at some point
