There’s a lot of autonomy, and you’re encouraged to think beyond just writing code — understanding the business and healthcare impact is part of the role. I appreciate the flexibility and the emphasis on collaboration rather than heroics. Teams are collaborative, leadership is approachable, and there’s a genuine emphasis on work-life balance. I’ve had opportunities to work across the stack and contribute ideas that were actually implemented.

Like many growing companies, processes are still evolving, so things can occasionally feel scrappy. That said, leadership is receptive to feedback and actively working to improve.

They have very few competitors in a marketplace with real opportunity for growth. They have a good tech stack (dbt + Airflow + Snowflake + Looker).

Although many smart people work here, incompetence in engineering and engineering management runs rampant (it's rare to find an engineer who can work with git) and an attitude of "don't rock the boat above all else" seems to prevail.
