Layoffs, less benefits, not invested in people. Poor severance packages.

Not one single pro I can think of

Judging by recent acquisition experience, they have no intention of retaining any employees once they are the new owners. People were rudely notified by phone of termination, told no questions would be answered and to shut down and leave immediately. They want no input from anyone with expertise and/or tenure in the company and terminate people with no concern for anything but profit.
