Micromanagement is part of the company culture, starting at the highest level. Everything requires multiple approvals. Lack of employee trust. There is a Slack channel called "whereabouts" that you have to post in if you are going to be anything but immediately available to everyone in the organization at any given time. Work hours not respected, management sends emails, calls, Slack messages, etc , around the clock and you are expected to be responsive.
