-Long hours and often overtime or weekend work is used just to catch up -Burnout is high in the accounting department; often an individual in accounting will have to balance what seems like two different fulltime jobs at once -It doesn't feel as if there's a good structure to handle the immense high volume workflow. -Growth within the accounting department is often ignored or an employee is doing additional jobs while maintaining the same title and pay. -management seems to downplay the excessive workflow and only offer words of encouragement and no working solution.
