PTC has a rampant issue with cronyism - if you are part of the organization through an acquisition, and PTC does a lot of them, you are marked. If you aren't an original PTC employee and consistently have Outstanding annual reviews, there is opportunity for some limited advancement. Original PTC employees, especially those in the PLM segment, are always given preference over better qualified employees who are higher achievers. The good 'ole boys club is alive and well in many forms, especially at the senior leadership level.

Flexible, great colleagues, good HR training on goals and objectives

Depends on the group, toxic culture pockets exist, abusive and bullying behavior is laughed at and accepted rather than corrected, unclear strategy, business unit level vision is lacking, no accountability, several HR complaints against a manager go unaddressed, slow to change, can be chaotic, more interest in checking the box than hitting the right mark.
