Lot of mech engineers comes from CAD/Design field in PTC by getting a better hike. I was once of them. Fortunately i got achance to come out of it. You can be on the same work level for next 100 years not there is a less chance that you can be getting hierarchy growth. Especially Creo Testing group is full of employees who lost their market Value because of same kind of repetitive work.
