Pros
It's a growing company that allows employees to really get involved if they so choose. Partners are down to earth and very open/friendly. People are very smart and great to work with. Extremely hard workers here. There's some good opportunities if you can land them. You work closely with Partners and can learn a lot from them. The work is usually interesting. Getting six-sigma certified is a plus.
Kontras
For an operational consulting firm, they really need to take a look at its own operations. It doesn't feel like the company runs smoothly as an integrated whole. The internal distribution, consolidation and communication of KM/information is not effective at all. Also, there are no established template for certain activities that PRTM consistently performs on certain services/projects we sell. Yes, PRTM stresses customization for each client, but there's a difference between customization and reinventing the wheel. The IT department is not helpful nor are they polite. A lot of projects are sold at a dollar amount that doesn't support the required staff needed to do a great job while also maintaining a semblence of a work-life balance. Staffing seems like a secret. Unless you ask, there's no centralized source that tells you what roles are currently available, what roles are opening up soon, etc. The online training is not very polished and the "core training" (which is online) is not worthwhile.
