Patient centered outcomes research is important. The health benefits are some of the strongest in the area.

PCORI has a problem with paying Black people the same as white people. PCORI has a problem with promoting Black people. PCORI had external consultants come in and ask Black women if they felt they were being treated fairly then did nothing with the information collected.

Kind colleagues, hybrid work (3 days in office), good benefits, and important mission.

Kontras

Top heavy -- too many unnecessary talking heads with large salaries rearranging the deck chairs, while more people are needed to do the actual work. Not much autonomy and very bureaucratic.
