The head of the department was an indecisive, arrogant human. From asking staff accountants to fetch items from the printer for him to being unable to stick to a decision, it was a nightmare working here. Constant fire drills because he would go down one path and then change his mind, resulting in extra work. The work was not general accounting as explained in the interview but rather valuation checks and other finance related tasks, but not your standard debits/credits and recs. There was a new hire that started on a Monday and then came in that Wednesday for the sweater she left at her desk. Another new hire after her last a couple months. Spare yourselves.
