Pros
- Lots of opportunity to be involved in interesting projects and to have lots of responsibilities, so you will learn quickly - Great teams to work with - Good work/life balance if you hold your boundaries
Kontras
- Culture seems to still be going downhill. There is a lot of talk about well being etc but it's starting to feel like we are all numbers on a page and there seems to be no one listening to things that would improve well-being (improved training, pay rises to at least match inflation, improved staff retention) - Very sink or swim - you will just get dumped into projects and are expected to run with them - Often projects are delayed so you are on the back foot before you have even started - Unfortunately people are feeling very demoralised after all the redundancies and the pressure that comes with losing staff with no reduction in workload - The way some contractors have been treated and how contractors are spoken about in general isn't great either
