Pros

Being in HR, you get to quickly learn the company culture. It is overall positive, and the workforce is grateful and kind. The HR team itself is collaborative and wonderful. Amazing benefits also.

There is a need to be on-site due to the culture, even if your role does not really require it.

Pros

Excellent HR internship with welcoming, knowledgeable mentors. The HR department and leadership were genuinely kind and set a strong example of how to support emerging professionals—encouraging growth, confidence, and curiosity rather than viewing inexperience as a weakness. Gained hands-on, real-world experience and insight into nonprofit and corporate environments, including using HRIS systems like Dayforce and pre-hire/onboarding tools such as Sterling.
