The hospital I was at was a Union and my schedule was not consistent due to being low man on the totem pole. Worked 7P-7A and they would expect you to turn around and work 9A-9P the following day and then back to 7P-7A within the same week.
ED Manager was a micromanager and always told you what you were doing wrong or how you could improve, and rarely praised you for the good you did.
Busy ER difficult to make time for lunch. Felt like the entire 12 hour shift was a full sprint most days.
