      The hospital is focused on patient safety which is a plus. They strive to provide a remarkable patient experience.

      Kontras

      Competency is not their strong suit. They do not select leaders based on talent and attributes. They rely on transplants from North Carolina who were unsuccessful at their jobs there.

      Pros

      Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.

      IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
